2nd floor in a townhouse-1 unit to be placed in my bedroom-cooling only-no heat- I can shut off the two rooms totally if I needed to so some cool air could go into the other room which is connected by a bath.

I am purchasing a home in Centerville that does not have air conditioning. It is a ranch with finished basement. I have interest in only providing A/C to main floor (three small bedrooms and kitchen/dining area/living room - open floor). In other words, four indoor units running one from the outdoor unit. I am interested in pricing of a system and installation. If the cost is about the same as central A/C, I would go with central.
